PFSA will update the hub regularly to make sure families have the tools they need to keep their children, teens and younger siblings safe as they explore the virtual world.

CVS has been working to bring health services to its stores since acquiring Aetna in late 2018. Executives believe the HealthHUBs will help consumers get healthier and lower their costs by managing chronic conditions, which can be more expensive to manage at home or through a primary care doctor.

In addition to providing convenient access to affordable health care coverage, CVS Pharmacy offers a wide selection of health and wellness products and everyday essentials. The company’s commitment to easy-to-access health and wellness support includes ACA individual and family plans, commercial plans, Medicare, and Medicaid options.

CVS is opening three HealthHUB locations this year, with the goal of expanding to 50 in 2022. The stores are staffed with nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who can perform a variety of clinical services, including screenings and diagnostic testing, such as blood pressure and glucose tests. They can also prescribe medications and help patients manage their chronic conditions, such as diabetes and asthma.

CVS also provides a number of convenience services, such as photo processing and currency exchange, at some HealthHUB locations. The company also partners with a number of retailers to offer additional in-store health and wellness offerings, such as the Fit4Me nutrition and fitness program at Bed Bath & Beyond.
